Making a wedding cake for family and the leaves she wanted as decoration needed fall colors to them. I purchased the yellow, green and red and they are all very nice. You can make the color as light or dark as you want with the amount of liquid you use (I used gin as that is all I had - vodka would be best from what I understand). They do have a shimmer-y look to them, they are not matte at all. The bride loves them though and that is all that matters to me. Also, the little flask goes a long way - I decorated over 25 leaves and only used about 1/4 of each container. Very pleased.

Such a great yellow color. I used this to help color the bottom of a chocolate goal post for a football field cake. No obvious taste! So perfect for decorating cakes!!Highly recommend you check your local Michaels or Joann's. Amazon usually has competitive prices but these are $3-4 at your local craft store.
